Registered non-profit organization since 2012 (KvK 55742092). The foundation promotes environmental awareness, sustainable development, and intercultural dialogue, with a focus on protecting natural resources, art, and literature. Its goal is to become a world leader in environmental innovation and a reference center for sustainability and cultural cooperation.
The Green University Foundation was founded by academics and social activists, including Drs. Khaled Chouket (former minister and member of parliament), Professor Mnaouer Djemali (scientist in animal genetics and biodiversity), and Medalela Ben Dhaou (human rights and civic activist, director of the Al-Ons Center). Other nationally and internationally recognized experts also contributed to its establishment.
